Certificate for IT Users

The aim of this course is to provide students with a high level of proficiency in the use of computer as an essential part of life and office fundamentals these days. This course is an innovative qualification for IT Users, with a unique 'pick and mix' design. It is ideal for all learners and allows candidates to choose exactly which units best reflect their level of skill.

Students will study IT principles, Databases, Desktop Publishing and Communication.

Students will gain the necessary skills to continue their studies, gain employment in the industry or start their own business. Students will be encouraged to work independently or in groups in a learner centred environment.

Diploma in IT Users Skills

Students will build and explore computer packages in more depth. The outcome of the programme will widen the student's knowledge and develop existing skills. The students will investigate electronic communication and integrated applications including Multimedia, Desktop Publishing, Web Design, and Digital Imaging. The PC is a fundamental element in many automation processes. This course is designed to train students in all aspects of using IT. The practical element of this course provides students with the experience to use IT Pro Tools. They also acquire a detailed knowledge of general electronics and security procedures.

Advanced Diploma for IT Users

This course is designed to provide students with skills, knowledge and training in the setting up and administration of computer software, Relational Databases, Integrated Applications, and Expert use of office software. Students will also be trained in installation and software development.
